This project marks a continuation of our collaboration with a familiar client, affording us the creative latitude to explore new realms of design. Our canvas? A compact space measuring 17.9 by 4.7 meters, devoid of natural light and characterized by a modest ceiling height of just 2.6 meters.
INSPIRATION
Our mission within these confines was clear: to fashion a private music sanctuary where friends and family could gather, a refuge for post-work jam sessions and weekend concerts in an intimate setting. With our clients, vibrant souls in their fifties who've chosen to embrace their youthful passions, we endeavored to harness the power of design to transport them back in time, evoking the spirit of their 20s when the stage was their playground.
Drawing inspiration from the chic club aesthetics of the 1980s, prevalent in Western locales, we embarked on a journey to recreate an era of pulsating energy and electric ambiance.
IN PROGRESS
The concept struck a chord with our clients, and thus, the transformation began. Incorporating quintessential elements of retro design, we introduced glass blocks to infuse the space with a subtle luminosity, serving as both a nod to nostalgia and a geometric counterpoint to the dynamic carpet pattern. Polished veneered panels adorned the ceiling, cleverly employed to visually expand the perceived height of the confined space.
PLAN
Warm chocolate and terracotta tones envelop the interior, imparting a sense of depth and intimacy, while vintage furnishings—chairs, armchairs, and lamps—add authentic flair to the retro narrative. At the bar, a circular illuminated mirror feature takes center stage, casting a luminous glow, while adjacent hangs a round painting of identical proportions, a cherished gift from dear friends.
In MUZ Club, time bends and memories stir, as design becomes a vessel for relieving cherished moments and embracing the boundless spirit of youth
